Frequently Asked Questions
Before you book
Does my swimmer need to be enrolled with Hooked Swim?
No. Clinics can be promoted to both current Hooked Swim families and external swimmers, subject to the entry requirements for each group.
How do I know which clinic group to select?
Use the group descriptions above as a guide. Add any specific age, distance or ability requirements to the booking listing. Families can contact Hooked Swim when unsure.
What should swimmers bring?
Swimmers should bring bathers, goggles, a towel and a drink bottle. Add fins, kickboards or other equipment if required for a particular clinic.
Will swimmers receive individual feedback?
The clinic format is designed to include technical instruction and swimmer-specific corrections within the group environment. Final wording should reflect your planned coach-to-swimmer ratio.
Are the clinics suitable for adults?
Yes. Adult clinics can focus on stroke efficiency, breathing, turns and practical technique for fitness swimming, triathlon, surf, open water or competition.
