Our Squads
There is a reason why our mascot is a stag. A stag embodies the philosophy of the Highlanders. It represents the values that we instill in our athletes, not just as swimmers, but as people.
Integrity. Discipline. Bravery.
The stag is the symbol of champions.
For our coaches to successfully progress athletes through our program, an athlete must display the criteria below:
Pursuit of Excellence
A self-driven desire to improve.
Like the stag, we grow through seasons. We commit to daily standards, refine under pressure, and express our best when it matters most.
Consistency
In attendance, effort and growth.
Like a stag sheds and regrows its antlers, progress happens over a whole season.
Coachability
Willingness to apply feedback and be challenged.
Like the stag, we are aware, adaptable and calm. We listen, adjust, and trust the process in pursuit of long-term excellence.
